Determine needs for supplemental coverage, increased values and develop proper rating information. Prepare recommendations for the customer that will reduce or prevent potential losses through adoption of applicable safety and loss prevention codes, state and municipal codes and underwriting guidelines. Act as liaison with internal staff, agents and customers. Assist Underwriters in evaluating risk desirability and estimating loss control needs/costs. Job Requirements Applicant must reside in the Greater Los Angeles area and have the ability to work from home. Ability to work independently and possess a high degree of self management. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence customers, agents company personnel. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain a satisfactory driving record. Ability to utilize computer software programs. Strong detail orientation 2-4 yrs experience in loss control, property claims, Underwriting or appraisal work desired.
