US-CA-Oakland-Administrativ/Training Assistant

This position offers the freedom to balance both work and home life. Start time can be anywhere from 6:00am to 7:45am. 50% - Provide administrative assistance to IS Training department: Assist IS Training staff in producing, distributing, and managing the supply of training materials and documentation that help Clorox employees use office technology. Administer training enrollment and tracking systems. Provide technical assistance. Provide secretarial support to department, including data entry, copying, light phone coverage, and training room maintenance. 50% - Provide administrative assistance to Enterprise Support Services division: Provide secretarial support to director and others as appropriate. Order supplies and provide mail service to designated floors. Work on special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years previous administrative assistant or clerical experience. Strong customer service orientation and organization skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Data entry and typing experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and some experience with Microsoft and Excel PowerPoint. Ability to follow established work processes and create new ones as appropriate.
Desired Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Lotus Notes a plus. Previous experience in an IS/IT environment a big plus. Working knowledge of PowerPoint.
